What is Shared Housing?
Shared Housing is two or more unrelated people who use resources, personal and financial in a home sharing arrangement. Home sharing means to share the entire home, not just one room. Each person is responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere, and discussing and resolving problems.
The Shared Housing Program of the Volunteer Center of Riverside County Logo connects home seekers with compatible home providers by registering and carefully screening all applicants. The Shared Housing Program will also work with both parties to develop an agreement, provide mediation and recommendations, as well as, stay in touch with clients once matches are made.
