Alternative Sentencing Mission
To provide quality community-based, restorative-justice sentencing options to Riverside County Courts and Probation Department. To link Riverside court-ordered residents with those who can help.

What services are offered?
Court, Probation or GAIN referred. Community Services in lieu of fines, jail time or an independent sentence.

  • Court Order (adult or juvenile) or CalWorks
  • In lieu of Counseling Center fees
  • Out of county, state transfers
Monitoring Services (Referral Based)
  • Domestic Violence Classes, Anger Management, Child Batterers/Parenting, Sexual Deviance Classes, Ignition Interlock Services, Home Detention (House Arrest), Alcohol and drug classes, out of county and state placement and transfers.
Alcohol and Drug Programs (Adult and Teens-intervention/diversion)
  • HAMM (Hospital and Morgue Mentoring)
  • Adults - 20 years and up, 10 hour-five week participation, Orientation interview, Trauma Center Observation, Coroner's Office and MADD Presentation, 500 word essay, exit Interview.
  • TEMPO (Teen Education Mentoring Program Option) Teens 13-19, 20-hour program
  • Intake interview, Group Orientation, Trauma Center Observation, Juvenile Hall Presentation, Community Activity, Group Counseling with drug/alcohol education, 500 word essay, exit interview.
  • VIP (Victim Impact Panel - MADD Presentation)
  • All ages - 2 hour presentation
  • Out of County and State transfers and placement.
